Around 7 a.m., you might just be getting out of bed, unless there are hundreds of hungry dogs depending on you for their breakfast. Then you’d already be divvying up the goods, preparing medicine for the dogs who need it, organizing enrichment activities, scheduling walks and more.
That’s how it is for caregivers at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary’s Dogtown. Their jobs (a work of love) start at dawn and end at dusk. And it’s all to give the tail-waggers plenty of TLC while they wait for adoptive families to call their own. See what a day is like here in Dogtown.
