Dear Friend,
Thanks to people like you, dogs and cats throughout the country will get the best chance to find homes, and a whole lot of adopters will find their new best friends. Thank you to the 2,683 donors who paid it forward and helped cover the costs of adoptions for homeless pets. People who paid it forward truly mean the world to the animals, especially to cats like Monica. At Best Friends in Los Angeles, Monica really struggled to find a home. She was so shy and afraid of people that whenever someone approached her, she’d hiss and back away (not very appealing to potential adopters). But Monica’s caregivers had a solution: a foster home. In her foster home, Monica was able to find her Zen. She had time to herself to calm down and feel at ease, and her true playful personality started to emerge. After a while, she became open to meeting new families and even allowed people to pet her. It took a little time, but Monica eventually found a home and now this once-shy gal spends her days cuddled up with her new family. Thank you so much for paying it forward and helping pets like Monica find homes. All of us at Best Friends, especially the animals, are grateful for your kindness.
