Thank you for taking the time to check out my Strut Your Mutt fundraising page! I am once again walking for Team Rescuzilla. They do amazing work in helping find pets homes as well as helping people keep their pets. All of the money raised goes directly to Rescuzilla.
Strut Your Mutt, hosted by Best Friends Animal Society, is an annual fundraising event that saves the lives of our furry friends in shelters across America.
So why am I joining thousands of fellow animal lovers and taking part in the event? Every day, nearly 5,500 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero.
That is where you come in: I need your help to reach my goal. Please make a donation today and help save the lives of homeless pets. Your donation is tax-deductible.
Thank you for making a lifesaving gift to the animals and for helping to Save Them All.

Why we Strut! Barleby!
Bartleby was a sight for sore eyes when we first found out about him. He was on hold for a possible cruelty investigation at our local municipal shelter, so filthy and severely matted that they were unable to complete a basic medical exam on him. With no leads in the case, the hold was released, the mats were shaved off, and we inherited a quirky little character that was intent on making the most of his second chance! We brought him to the best veterinarians in NYC to make sure we could find an adopter who could address his medical needs, and it turned out that Bartleby was completely, 100% blind. He sure had us fooled! Bartleby soon became an all-time Rescuzilla favorite, stealing the hearts of everyone he came across. His new mom drove all the way down from Boston (twice!) to make him hers, and they now make regular visits to the School for the Blind together to spread the Bartleby joy to kids like him.
For Bartleby, and thousands of animals like him, the money we are raising will go directly to save lives, fund adoption programs and spay/neuter services, and keep animals out of shelters.
