As I am sure you already know that for the past (almost) two years, I have had the true pleasure of working with Muddy Paws Rescue. This incredible organization has changed the lives of thousands of dogs. It starts by pulling dogs (litters of puppies to senior dogs) from open intake shelters, transporting them to New York and providing them loving and caring foster homes. Each dog receives the veterinary care and even behavioral training when needed, and then finally, they are matched with the best forever families. Fostering is hard. There are sleepless nights, endless walks, messes to clean, but seeing the love and appreciation you receive from the dog who now knows its safe, is worth every second.
Each year, the ASPCA estimates that about 670,000 dogs are euthanized in American shelters. Together, we can make this number decline and even disappear. The staff and volunteers at MPR work around the clock to save as many dogs as possible. But the need for funding is imperative. It is very simple- the more funds we have, the more dogs we can rescue. I hope you will consider making a tax-exempt donation our annual fundraiser. The cost per dog can add up from several hundred to several thousand dollars per dog. But we are committed to saving even more dogs and keeping adoptions affordable and an approachable option for people of all income levels. Donors play such a critical role in our fight to save these dogs and we are forever grateful for your support. If you are unable to make a financial contribution at this time, please ask me how you can volunteer to help!
