I’m walking to save the lives of homeless pets! As most of you know, I adopted my dog Gilly over 8 years ago. Without the tireless work of rescue organizations, Gilly may never have made it out of a southern high kill shelter and up to me.
This year, I’m participating in Strut Your Mutt, a fundraising walk hosted by Best Friends Animal Society that helps to make sure no Gilly is left behind both right here in my community and all across the country. Please support me by making a donation to my page. Your gift helps homeless pets and will support Pound Hounds Res-Q. Several years ago, Pound Hounds helped me to pull a neglected and forgotten pit bull/boxer mix that I named Rusty from the euthanasia list at Brooklyn Animal Care & Control. I fostered Rusty for several months before he went on to his happily ever after with a wonderful human. Help them save more dogs like Rusty, don’t let them be forgotten.
This cause means so much to me. I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 4,100 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like Gilly and Rusty.
Together, we can Save Them All! Thank you for your kind support.
