2018 New York City Strut Your Mutt

Thank you for visiting the Animals-R-Family Strut Your Mutt Team page. We’re raising money to help end the killing of pets in America’s shelters.

One of our rescues 6-year old Sandy had a rough ... and life-threatening ... time, thanks to never receiving vet care in her previous life.

Sandy arrived with us in January and was treated for Protein Losing Nephropathy, which means her kidneys were losing protein. At one point she was so bad, the vet thought she was going to die.

Sandy had heartworm, which we treated.

Sandy had mammary tumours which were surgically removed and the biopsies came back benign.

Sandy had a dental with teeth extractions.

Sandy had a tick disease which we treated.

Sandy’s veterinary bills were over $7,500!! It was all worth it as she found a loving home in July!

Please, please, please help us rescue more dogs like Sandy!

Every day, more than 4,100 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.

Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100% of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets.

Together, we can Save Them All.

Thank you for your support!
