Safe Hands Rescue is so excited to be participating in this year’s Strut Your Mutt! Our mission is to save and improve the lives of companion animals.
We provide second chances to dogs like Harvey. Harvey was tired, weak and alone. He’d been on his own for so long. Ticks covered his body and his joints ached from Lymes disease. He was so hungry, nothing more than skin and bones. His skin ached from mange and infection. When everything in his life was going wrong…one thing happened right.
Late one night in June, Harvey picked the right porch to curl up on. A family found him, they reached out for help. Because of people just like you, we said yes without any hesitation. We knew Harvey could get what he needed to recover in Safe Hands Rescue.
It truly takes a village to save homeless pets. We rely on an army of volunteers and YOU! Donations from friends like you mean that together we can continue to provide new lives and second chances to animals in need.
We’ve set a lofty goal this year – one that will allow us to continue saying yes to dogs like Harvey.
Here's how you can help provide lifesaving care to dogs like Harvey:
Join our team - Your registration fee is tax-deductible and counts as a donation to Safe Hands Rescue. It gives you entrance into the Strut Your Mutt celebration and a 2018 Strut Your Mutt t-shirt. (Note that you may register to be on the team even if you are unable to attend the event.)
Invite your friends to join our team – the bigger our team, the more lives we can save!
Fundraise for our team - Once you register, tell your friends why you are raising money to save homeless pets and ask for their support. A new FB plugin when you register makes this easier than ever and we'll provide tips to make it easier along the way!
Donate to our team - Donations to our team or to one of our teammates' pages all go to Safe Hands Rescue.
Spread the word – Share your personal page or our team page with your friends and family.
Join us to make this year the biggest and best yet!
Thank you for your support!
