Welcome to My Birthday Fundraiser

Hi everyone! My birthday is on September 3 and in honor of completing another year, I am raising funds for the Best Friends Animal Society! Our family lost our beloved Maximus on his 10th birthday this year and everyday I think about how lucky we were to have found this softie on his last day in the local shelter before lining up to be euthanized. And then we have our Matilda girl who would have definitely been homeless or euthanized had my dad not found her when he did.

This non-profit speaks to my heart because I have loved animals my whole life. Our family has had dogs, fish, birds and a tortoise! I believe in Best Friends' humanity and mission to eliminate homelessness and achieve a no-kill society. Please give to my birthday fund and if it resonates with you, please continue to support their efforts in whichever way you can.

Since it was founded in 1984, Best Friends Animal Society has helped reduce the number of dogs and cats killed in shelters nationwide from 17 million per year to about two million. That's incredible progress, but it means 4,100 dogs and cats are still being killed in America's shelters every day, simply because they don't have safe places to call home.
