It’s time for our city to end breed discrimination.

Pit Bull Image Legislative Alert

We all want safe and humane communities for people and pets. Unfortunately, the recent story about the family pets in our city recently being killed because of the way they look is all too typical. These types of tragedies happen all the time because of our antiquated breed-discriminatory “pit bull” law. That law needs to change and we need your help to make it happen.

We can and we must do better. Breed-discriminatory ordinances fail to enhance public safety, are expensive to enforce and violate the rights of responsible dog owners.

Please take a moment to contact your elected officials and be the voice for our pet dogs. Let them know it’s time to get rid of the city’s outdated ordinance. Politics isn’t a spectator sport, so please act now and also share this message on Facebook and Twitter with all your North Little Rock friends and family so we can maximize our impact.

Thank you for all you do to Save Them All.

Dear [Decision Maker],

We all want safe and humane communities. As a North Little Rock resident, I'm asking you to repeal the city's breed-discriminatory ordinance targeting alleged "pit bull" terriers. Our antiquated ordinance is not only ineffective, but it's expensive to enforce and violates the property rights of responsible pet owners.

In America, responsible dog owners who follow safety rules should be able to own whatever breed of dog they choose. It's that simple.

Let's stop killing responsible dog owners' innocent dogs. Please repeal and replace the current breed-discriminatory pit bull law.

Thank you,
