Urge Governor Christie to sign S. 3041

Great news! Thanks to your many calls and emails, an important bill has made it through the legislature and is headed to the governor’s desk.

Senate Bill 3041 will protect consumers and take us one step closer to a day without puppy mills by strengthening the New Jersey Pet Purchase Protection Act. Specifically, the bill restricts roadside animal sales and prohibits the sale of pets from breeders who have been cited for serious violations of the Animal Welfare Act.

There is just one more step to making this important reform a reality. Please take a moment today to contact Governor Christie and ask him to sign S. 3041 into law.

Thank you for all you do for animals. Together, we can Save Them All.

Dear [Decision Maker],

As a proud resident of New Jersey, I respectfully urge you to sign Senate Bill 3041 into law, in order to strengthen the Pet Purchase Protection Act you signed in 2015. This fair and reasonable measure will improve regulations for dog and cat sales in our state.

I urge you to protect pets, consumers and taxpayers in New Jersey by signing S. 3041 into law.

Thank you.
