House Bill 13 will end breed discrimination in Delaware.
You can help Delaware dogs today by urging your state senator to support House BIll 13. This lifesaving legislation was recently passed by the House of Representatives and is now in the Senate, where the vote is going to be much closer.
HB 13 will put an end to breed discrimination in our state, and instead put the focus of our dangerous dog laws on the behavior of the dog and the behavior of the owner. We all want safe and humane communities for people and pets.
Unfortunately, out-of-state people are trying to influence our legislators to defeat this bill. That’s why your voice — the voice of Delaware animal lovers — is needed now more than ever.
Please take action today. Let your senator know that HB 13 is the right choice for our state and that he or she should support it. Personalized messages are even more effective, so consider sharing your own personal reasons for supporting this bill in the text box below.
And don’t stop there! Amplify your impact by sharing this message on Facebook and Twitter. Tell your Delaware friends and family how important it is that they act to save our dogs.
Thank you for your support and for being a voice for our state’s animals. Together we will Save Them All.
Dear [Decision Maker],
As a constituent, I urge you to support HB 13, a public safety bill that is currently making its way through the Senate.
