Urge your Senator to support HB 2716
Since 2003, Oklahoma taxpayers have been given the option, via an income tax checkoff, to donate from a tax refund for the benefit of the Oklahoma Pet Overpopulation Fund. The funds collected are used to implement and maintain pet sterilization efforts in the state of Oklahoma. This income tax checkoff is now up for reauthorization by the state legislature. Your voice is needed today to ensure that funding continues for this lifesaving program.House Bill 2716 simply reauthorizes the optional income tax checkoff that has existed for 15 years. The bill has already passed the House and will soon be heard in the state Senate. Now is the time for your voice to be heard.Thank you for speaking up for Oklahoma’s pets. Together, we will Save Them All.
