Urge your elected officials to support SB 105.
Great news for South Carolina’s cats and dogs! Comprehensive legislation has been introduced in the legislature that will save the lives of our pets. Stakeholders from across the state worked tirelessly to draft this lifesaving bill and it has strong bipartisan support. If successful, trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) for community cats will at last be explicitly authorized, setting the stage to save thousands of cats and kittens across the state. Additionally, local nonprofit organizations will also be eligible to receive grants from the state (paid for with proceeds from the sale of “No More Homeless Pets” license plates) to help support TNVR. These are just two of the many exciting components of this comprehensive bill.
Act now and ask your state representative and senator to support SB 105.
