Best Friends Animal Society is working around-the-clock to help pets and shelters impacted by these unprecedented wildfires, even as we work to ensure the safety of our staff and the pets in our care at the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in West L.A.
We’ve taken in hundreds of pets since the crisis began, and have already found temporary foster homes for over half of them. We’re operating pet pantries to help those in need, and are transporting animals in need of permanent homes out of the area to make room for lost and displaced pets looking to be reunited with their families.
Best Friends is a “whatever it takes” organization and we will do whatever it takes to help those in the city. Whether it’s saving lives, supporting one another, or making the impossible possible, we’re here for the long run to support Los Angeles.
