If your team won $500 from the early-bird promotion incentive, $1,000 from the shelter jump-start or $500 from the Team fundraising incentive, you will be eligible for the Strut Speed-fundraising incentive. Winners of the first Speed fundraiser are not eligible.

Since registration fees are considered a donation, they do count toward the $10,000 fundraising goal.

Off line donations that are received and input in time to be counted by the time 10 winners have been reached will be included. Due to the 'speed' of the turnaround for this incentive, we cannot guarantee or assign a deadline for those to be received Please direct donors to your fundraising page to support you and your team (if you wish to accept donations off line from donors, you will need to collect those donations and submit them yourself through your fundraising page and document yourself for year end tax receipts).

In order for online donations to count, they must be entered no later than Sept, 25 by 12 noon or by the time the 10 winners have been determined

The $1,000 award check will be mailed to the Team Captain after the incentive has ended and will not be included in your final check. If we do not have a W9 from your organization before then, we must receive a copy of it immediately after you have been notified that you are one of the winners.
- Prize money will be added as a team donation, and will be noted as a donation from Best Friends. Winners will receive award checks in the mail once contest is complete and before general fundraising checks are sent. Checks may be cashed at any point.
