Dear Friend, When Raisin arrived at Best Friends in Utah, he was a tiny newborn, but already he had big problems. The poor guy couldn’t eat from his bottle without getting sick. As it turned out, Raisin has a condition called megaesophagus, so he needed special treatment. And with your help, that’s exactly what he got. Thanks to people like you, Raisin made his way to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, where his foster caregiver (who happened to be a Best Friends founder) built Raisin a special feeding station. That meant Raisin could not only enjoy his meals, he could keep his food down and grow up strong and healthy.
