Dear Friend,
Best Friends Day may now be finished, but the lifesaving has only just begun. More than 2,500 animal lovers across the country made a Best Friends Day gift, raising over $160,000 to help save the lives of homeless pets. And that means we’re another step closer to ending the killing of our best friends in shelters nationwide.
Every day, nearly 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America’s shelters, simply because they don’t have safe places to call home. But together, we can change that. We can make the entire country no-kill by 2025. Find out some of the ways you can help end the killing in shelters.
All homeless pets deserve a second chance, so thank you for being part of Best Friends and for all that you do for the animals.
Thank you again for the love you’ve shown to the animals. They, and everyone here at Best Friends, are incredibly grateful.

P.S. Best Friends Day is over, but you can still help save lives! Make a gift to the animals now and help them find friends to call their own.
