Best Friends - Save Them All(R)
Puppy mills are no place for our best friends, so join Best Friends Animal Society to shut them down for good.
Dear Friend,

It once seemed nearly impossible to think that we could take on the puppy mill industry. Today, because of caring people like you, more and more communities across the country are passing laws to prohibit pet stores from selling dogs from puppy mills — and encouraging them to feature dogs and cats for adoption instead. And yet we still have a ways to go to shut down puppy mills for good. Can we count on you to help turn the tide?

Give today

With momentum on our side, we’re working hard to shut down puppy mills for good. Sadly, most dogs born and kept in puppy mills lack even the basics — companionship, medical care, space to move and stretch. But together, we are putting puppy mills out of business and saving lives around the country.

Indeed, your generosity is the cornerstone of our advocacy and community work at the ground level. You make this — and so much more — possible:
  • Ensuring that laws are passed to ban the sale of pets from mills, educating the public about the realities of puppy mill life, and encouraging pet lovers to adopt rather than buy
  • Saving the lives of community cats (free-roaming outdoor cats) by keeping them out of shelters through humane trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs
  • Working at the local level with lawmakers to end breed-discriminatory legislation and keep beloved pets in their homes
Your gifts accomplish all of this, alongside all of the work to help homeless pets find homes. Because all dogs and cats deserve to feel safe and happy.

So please make a gift today. Together with you, and collaborating with our shelter and rescue partners around the country, we can create a bright, loving future for all pets — and make America no-kill for dogs and cats by 2025.

P.S. Please give today to animals who simply need a friend to stand up for them. We are profoundly grateful for your kindness.
