Thank you for visiting my WATTS PROJECT Strut Your Mutt Team PERSONAL page.
I hope I can count on your support for this community-based rescue group I have grown to be heavily involved with over the last year--since Amanda brought Little Chico into my life! Before I became a member, I have always appreciated Watts Project for being the only LA based rescue group to invite me to participate in their adoption events with a shelter dog. Additionally, one of the things I love most about Watts Project is being able to work hand in hand with the underserved communities of South LA to provide important resources to loving pet owners, who just don't have the money to spare to provide what we would call the absolute best care for their pets. To many low income pet owners, these services are out of reach.
That's why our team is participating in this Strut Your Mutt event on October 26, to raise money for the WATTS PET RESOURCE CENTER. Our purpose is to provide homeless and low income pet owners with supplies such as leashes, collars, pet food, crates, dog houses, and low cost and free medical care that includes spay/neuter surgeries. Our "trademark" So Fresh N' So Clean spa service is a cornerstone at the Watts Pet Resource Center, where we have hired a mobile groomer to provide the comfort and relief that can only come with a good bath and brush, fresh cut or shave down, and nail trim. Pet parents often visit our center, after receiving a notice to comply from animal control. The services they receive not only keep their pets comfortable and healthy, but also keep them from becoming another resident in an already overcrowded shelter system. With that, we are saving lives by keeping dogs in their homes, and out of the shelter.
But we need your help, too. The word is out and more and more community residents visit us each month. You can help us make a difference in the lives of community pets.
Please, please support our team either by registering and JOINING my team, or DONATING RIGHT HERE on my PERSONAL page. Your donation will help me reach my fundraising goal. It is tax deductible and Watts Project keeps 100 percent of the money raised (after transaction fees) for the WATTS PET RESOURCE CENTER. And the added bonus? That money will help keep dogs out of shelters and save the lives of homeless pets. Together, we can Save Them All.
