I’m walking to help rescue dogs find loving and forever homes.
I have a special needs dog at home, Ozzie. I rescued him 5 years ago from LA County. He was scared but adapted quickly to his new home. Unfortunately, 3 years ago, Ozzie was diagnosed with IVDD, a genetic disorder. He was paralyzed for 8 months and has permanent nerve damage. Nowadays you see him run, and you'd never know the battle he went through. I learned so much about rescue and special needs dogs during that time.
I’m participating in Strut Your Mutt, a fundraising walk hosted by Best Friends, which helps saves the lives of dogs like Ozzie here in Los Angeles and all across the US.
Please support me and Ozzie by making a donation to our page. This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
