Paw Parent has Reached a Tipping Point!
Paw Parent has joined the Strut your Mutt campaign again this year with a very lofty goal to raise $10,000. For 11 years Isabell, the founder of Paw Parent, has worked tirelessly to rescue desperate animals in need, more often than not shouldering the 24/7 care of these helpless creatures by alone.
As much as Isabell has enjoyed being able to fulfill her dream that has allowed her to give hundreds of unwanted dogs and cats a safe haven over the years, the 14-hour days 7 days a week have taken their toll on her physically and emotionally.
More than ever does Paw Parent need your help to keep the facility up and running!
As of last year, Isabell had to hire extra care givers for the animals. After all isn’t this is what it’s all about, to be able to shower the animals with the love and attention they need and deserve? Our goal for Strut Your Mutt of $10,000 this year is ambitious – but we need the money to offset the expense of staffing our facility, so Isabell doesn’t have to face the dilemma of shouldering most of the work alone anymore.
Because of our remote location, Paw Parent cannot attract the volunteers shelters in the city and suburbs enjoy. We do our best to accommodate those who are willing to donate their time and talents, but unfortunately, these are few and far between.
We currently have an excellent team of caring and responsible employees, but Paw Parent must raise more funds to continue meeting the modest salaries of these animal loving people.
Additionally, we are still a skeleton crew seeing to the feeding, walking, cleaning and veterinary care of our charges as well as staffing adoption event, and we could use more help.
Paw Parent has now reached a tipping point – either we raise more operational funds through the generosity of those who believe in our work, or we must curtail the number of creatures we can rescue and care for everyday.
Please contribute to ensure Paw Parent maintains its current capacity, or grows even more!
Please join us either by joining our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets.
Together, we can Save Them All.
Thank you for your support!
