2019 DC Metro Strut Your Mutt

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

Ten years ago, a group of volunteers came together with a common goal: save as many adoptable animals as possible from underfunded and overcrowded rural shelters.  Ten years later, more than 14,000 lives have been saved by Lucky Dog Animal Rescue.

This is ONLY possible because of your support!

Each week, DC area fosters welcome dogs and cats from South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Puerto Rico, and even Hawaii.  Dogs and cats who would never have a chance at a loving home if it were not for Lucky Dog.  We work with vet partners, boarding partners, and training partners to keep our costs as low as possible.  We are volunteer powered with minimal staff to keep our administrative costs as low as possible.  Everything we do is to put as much money as possible towards the dogs.

YOUR DONATION WILL SUPPORT OUR LIFE-SAVING EFFORTS.  WILL HELP US SAVE EVEN MORE LUCKY DOGS AND CATS.
