Memorial for Karin du Temple

As classmates and friends of Karin’s, we all have so many memories that bring a smile to our faces when we think of her. She had a wonderful sense of fashion, an infectious sense of humor but most of all, it’s her love of animals, especially dogs that comes to mind. As the world wide web reconnected  all of us we were able to see how our lives had developed.  Karin became a champion for animals. She was vegan and used her voice to advocate for the voiceless. She advocated fiercely for the adoption of homeless dogs and misconceptions of bully breeds. Karin personally placed 110 homeless dogs and fought against breed specific legislation. We want to honor Karin for her work towards the betterment of the lives of animals with this fundraising campaign for Best Friends Animal Society.

DONATE TO FUNDRAISER

Since it was founded in 1984, Best Friends Animal Society has helped reduce the number of dogs and cats killed in shelters nationwide from 17 million per year to about two million. That's incredible progress, but it means 4,100 dogs and cats are still being killed in America's shelters every day, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. And if we work together, it can be.

That's why I created this fundraiser.

When you donate to my fundraiser, you'll be helping around 1,600 dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, horses, and other barnyard animals who on any given day reside at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Plus, you'll be helping to save the lives of homeless pets all across the country through lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs, no-kill initiatives, and more.

Thank you for donating to help save animals' lives. Together, we will Save Them All.
