Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Former Students of Ilona Klein,
After 26 years of service at Brigham Young University in the French and Italian Department, Prof. Ilona Klein will be retiring this year. Everyone who has worked with her knows of her intense work ethic, her devotion to her profession, and her deep ethical commitment.
We wish to honor her by inviting you to donate to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, a no-kill shelter that Ilona loves and that saves thousands of animals a year.
We will be surprising Ilona with the results of the fundraiser at her retirement party in April (so please keep it a secret until then). We are working with the shelter director so that Ilona will be able to designate how the funds are used for the animals.
