In 2024, I'm taking on my most epic endurance challenge yet, and I'm doing it all for the puppies and kittens. Over the course of 6 days, I'll be running the 171 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon to the Grand Staircase/Grand Escalante National Monument.
My entire life, I've been passionate about running and animal welfare. Best Friends is now giving me the opportunity to marry those two passions together to help support Best Friends in their relentless work to eliminate the unnecessary deaths of shelter pets across the country.
Back in 2013, my dogs Tulah and Zorro came from shelters where euthanizing for space was a common practice. We have come so far since then, but there is still so far to go. That's why I created this fundraiser and that's why I'm running.
