For over 15 years, Coastal German Shepherd Rescue, a non-profit 501(c)3 public charity based in Orange County, has been dedicated to caring for and finding loving homes for abandoned dogs. We are an all volunteer run organization, with no paid employees, and our rescue exists solely because of your tax deductible donations, which support our efforts to save these very deserving animals. We save the unwanted seniors, the discarded dogs who need medical care, and so many more.
Shelters are overloaded with dogs, including a huge influx of dogs purchased and adopted during the pandemic who were turned in once their family members started going back to work. Our phones are ringing off the hook asking for our help with dogs with medical needs and unplanned litters of puppies. They all need our help. And we need your help to help them.
How will your generous donations help the dogs in our care?
Ellie is a young, super sweet and gorgeous GSD who found herself living at Devore. She was available for public adoption and was quickly snapped up, only to be returned because her new family was worried about her hips and a growth on her elbow.
Ellie was now on the euthanasia list and quickly running out of time, so, as soon as we had an open spot, we invited her to join the Coastal family. Maybe only 2 years old, she went directly to our vet for an exam and has had multiple X-rays to see what’s going on with her hips and elbows. Next will be a consultation with our surgical team to see what we can do to give her the future she deserves.
Please join us in helping Ellie and other deserving dogs by registering for our team and/or donating. Your donation is tax deductible and Coastal German Shepherd Rescue keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees.
Thank you for your support!
