Every dog and cat, no matter their age, medical need, or behavioral issue, deserves a wonderful forever home. These animals need extra love — and will give it back a thousand times over.

We know that the right family is out there for every animal; the hard part is finding them. That’s our specialty. We are Core Paws, and we partner with animal shelters and rescues across the nation to feature their hard-to-place pets. Today, we are raising funds in order to continue this important work. With your help, we can save animals like Odie. Odie was brought into a kennel environment as a stray puppy and waited there for 11 years. Adopters in the area were interested in small dogs, not large reactive pitbulls like Odie.

Core Paws showcased him on our website and raised funds to send him to a veterinary behaviorist. Soon thereafter he was adopted into the perfect home. He is celebrating his 8-month adoptaversary with his dog mom, Sharon. She says, “Odie is the perfect dog for me!” In his honor, we created Odie’s Fund for Hard-To-Place Animals, where we raise money on behalf of our hardest cases to help them become more adoptable.
