Thank you for visiting our Strut Your Mutt Team page. We’re raising money to help end the killing of pets in the United States. Our organization, Georgetown Animal Outreach, has been rescuing dogs and cats for over 15 years. Last year we rescued and adopted out 87 dogs and 14 cats! In addition to this, our TNR (trap, neuter, return) team trapped approximately 100 cats/kittens in the 10 feral colonies they manage in order to have them altered, vaccinated, and given the best possible life. Please help us reach our goal of $6000 to donate funds towards an organization that is saving lives.
Right now, we are very much involved in the relief efforts connected to Hurricane Harvey. We have dogs and cats displaced by the storm in our foster homes and are looking for new forever homes for them. We also delivered supplies to the affected area when we went to pick up dogs and cats.
Every day, more than 5,500 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.
Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100 percent of the money that’s raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets.
Together, we can Save Them All.
Thank you for your support!
