When Second Chance for Homeless Pets was founded in 2000 we had the mission of helping the dogs and cats in the rural areas of the state. Places that don't have large populations and ending up in a shelter is an almost certain death sentance. Places that don't really have "animal shelters", they have a metel shed behind the police station....or a cage behind a vet clinic. What we didn't know 19 years ago is how that mission would become more important and more relevent as the years went by. The larger cities have beautiful animal centers and hundreds of dedicated animal people, while the small rural areas still struggle. You can help make a differance for these animals, your contribution and/or fundraising efforts for our "Strut your Mutt" team will provide resources to reach these rural animals who so desperatly need our help!
Thank you for your support!
