The photo above right shows ESRA’s first-ever bonded trio: mama Trouble, age ten, with her son Petee and daughter Sissy, age eight. These sweet dogs love and rely on each other so much that they could not be separated. We were proud to be able to give this little family the vetting they needed and then find the perfect adopters to shower them with the loving care they deserve in their golden years.
For the tenth consecutive year, I’m participating in the Strut Your Mutt event sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society. This is the largest fundraiser of the year for our group, English Springer Rescue America, and we count on your generosity to help us raise the money we need to help the dogs who come into our care. We provide loving foster homes and careful screening procedures to make sure that each of our dogs finds the perfect Forever Home in which to live a full and happy life. All of our members and foster families are volunteers who donate their time and labor to this important cause.
We also provide necessary medical care to all of the dogs in our program so that they will be as healthy and comfortable as possible when they are adopted. Veterinary expenses are by far the largest expense that ESRA faces (about 85% of our total outlay), and we need to rely on campaigns such as Strut Your Mutt to help us make ends meet. So please donate whatever amount you can to our 2019 drive. Contributing is simple — just click the big orange DONATE button above!
Thank you in advance for your continuing support.
