I rescued Bravo in 2002. The vet determined he was FIV+ and therefore shouldn't live with other cats and probably would not live long. Thankfully I had a contact who provided me with accurate information about FIV. So I brought Bravo home and he lived happily and healthily with my other cats to the ripe old age of 21.
The Feline Refuge is dedicated to saving the lives of FIV+ and FeLV+ cats throughout the country. Many otherwise healthy cats are still killed by shelters and rescue groups solely because they test positive for one or both of these viruses. We want to end this practice and give these cats a chance to live and find loving homes like Bravo did.
I am partipating in the Strut Your Mutt charity event to raise money for The Feline Refuge. I hope you can support me by making a donation to this page. These special cats mean so much to me and I am grateful for any help you can give.
Thank you for your kind support.
