I am strutting in memory of sweet Daisy, who had a second chance thanks to St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry.
Daisy was dumped at the Jacksonville Arboretum in bad shape back in November 2011. St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry Chair, Becky heard the news and called me, since I lived close by. When I arrived at the park, there she was shaking by the park gate. I was not in a position financially to take in another pet, especially one with a lot of medical issues. St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry committed to take care of Daisy's medical cost so she would not have to go to the over crowded shelter, and we committed to foster her. Long story short, after getting treatment for Lyme Disease, Vestibular Disease and severe arthritis, Daisy stole our hearts and she was a happy part of our family for a year before crossing the rainbow bridge. We will always be thankful for St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry for helping Daisy and many other animals in need each year!
Please support St. Philip Neri Animal Ministry by making a donation to my page. Your gift helps continue their program that donates pet food, supplies, financial support to rescue organizations, shelters and individuals that cannot afford medical care for their pet.
This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero.
Thank you for your kind support!
