I’m walking to save the lives of homeless pets!
This year I'm walking to raise awareness on the lives of black dogs. Many people do not know that the ebony angels are overlooked in shelters and are not adopted simply based on the color of their fur. My personal dog, a pittie named Violet is black, and she opened my eyes to what is known as “Black Dog Syndrome.” We want to let everyone know that black dogs are no different than any other dog needing a loving and committed home.
This year, I'm participating in Strut Your Mutt, a fundraising walk hosted by Best Friends that saves the lives of homeless pets right here in my community and all across the country.
Please support me by making a donation to my page. Your gift helps homeless pets and will support the animal welfare group I've chosen to walk for.
This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
