Thank you for taking the time to check out my Strut Your Mutt fundraising page for Nor Cal Boxer Rescue (NCBR)! Strut Your Mutt, hosted by Best Friends Animal Society, is an annual fundraising event that saves the lives of our furry friends across America.
NCBR is a volunteer organization that I am very proud to be affiliated with. NCBR rescues boxers and boxer mixes from shelters in Northern California. The organization provides medical care or behavioral training as needed and placement in a volunteer foster home for adoption. I am a volunteer foster – I provide a safe home environment for my foster and evaluate their specific needs to ensure the best possible outcome in their forever home. I have also provided a loving and caring home for hospice fosters to live out thier final days.
A little about NCBR:
2019 is NCBR's 21st year in operation
NCBR served 115 dogs in 2018.
NCBR is committed to saving the most vulnerable dogs, including those who are ill, injured, senior or at immediate risk of shelter euthanasia.
In 2018, the average cost of veterinary and behavioral rehabilitation for each adult dog was almost 5 times the dog's adoption fee.
In 2018, the average cost of each senior dog in NCBR’s care was 13 times its adoption fee.
In 2018, 20% of the dogs NCBR served were senior dogs.
NCBR is operated entirely by volunteers, so donations directly support the care of our dogs.
NCBR is entirely foster-based. All of the dogs in our care live in homes like family members.
This is where you come in: To cover costs of medical or behavioral care NCBR has to raise money. Strut Your Mutt is the biggest fundraising event for NCBR. Please make a donation today (every little bit helps) and help save the lives of homeless boxers. Your donation is tax-deductible. And what’s great is that NCBR keeps all the money it raises (after transaction fees). Thank you for taking the time to check out my Strut Your Mutt fundraising page for Nor Cal Boxer Rescue (NCBR)!
