Hello friends and fellow animal lovers!
It's fundraising time of year again for the rescue that I work with (Silicon Valley Pet Project), so thank you so much for stopping by to check out my page. It really does take a village and your financial support is a tremendous help in allowing us to continue to fight the good fight for these animals that so desperately need our help.
The funds we raise are used to help needy little critters like all of the dogs I've fostered over the years. If we are Facebook friends, you've seen all of them and watched their progress from the time they entered my care (with all degrees of health needs), through their successful tranformations into full recoveries, and then placed into loving adoptive homes.
This year my team will be walking for Golly, the emaciated Pibble/Boston mix puppy with infected eyes that was found less than 14 weeks old, wandering helplessly as a stray. #SVPP immediately stepped in and provided her the advanced care she needed (surgery to remove both of her eyes), and placed her in a loving foster home to heal. She's now made a full recovery and is ready for her fur-ever home.
The work we do is vitally important because nearly 2,200 dogs and cats are killed every day in shelters, just because they don’t have safe places to call home. We are determined to get that number to zero by the year 2025. Working collaboratively with shelters, rescue groups, other animal welfare organizations, and you, we will end the killing and Save Them All. Thank you for your compassion!
