I've been a volunteer with Shadow Cats since 2015 and I am incredibly passionate about the work we do there. This year I am strutting for all of the kitties of Shadow Cats so that they can continue to receive the best care possible.
Shadow Cats is a 501c3 non-profit in Round Rock that cares for +80 special needs cats such as those with feline leukemia or other conditions which put them at risk of euthanasia at animal shelters. Shadow Cats has been serving Central Texas for over a decade and we are dedicated to the welfare of feral, homeless, ill and injured cats and humanely reducing the number of free roaming cats in our communities. To date, we have sterilized nearly 10,000 cats through our TNR (trap-neuter-release) efforts, our One Life Fund has dispersed over $90,000 to other rescues in need across the country, and more than 350 ill, injured and behaviorally challenged cats have lived out their lives safely at our Sanctuary.
We are a small but mighty volunteer group. The only paid personnel are the handful of kitty assistants and techs who provide the top notch daily care for the over 80 cats in residence. Every other person is a volunteer including the board members. We are incredibly passionate about what we do and helping animals in our community.
Please help me support Shadow Cats with a donation today. Every dollar raised is one more dollar that can go towards providing for these amazing kitties and keeping the amazing work of this organziation going.
