Copper and I will be walking in Strut Your Mutt this year in memory of our Bloodhound Bo. I rescued Bo 7 years ago. Bo was a brother from another mother to Copper and to me he was my big lug of love. Bo had canine cognitive dysfunction (also known as dog dementia) the last year and a half of his life. It was a tough time for my family and I but I would not give up on Bo. If there was remedy out there, holistic or otherwise, I wanted to find it. In the end there was nothing more that I could do to help Bo but make the decision to end his suffering. With assistance from Lap Of Love, Bo crossed over the rainbow bridge recently and now there is a piece of our family missing. Bo taught me patience, incredible patience, patience I never knew I had inside me. Bo also taught me unconditional love. No matter how bad things got with him, I knew I would take care of him no matter what till his last breath. Many homeless animals will never know this kind of love. Although Bo took a little piece of my heart with him, as with every furry friend that I lose, my heart also gets a little bigger for the next one that I will rescue.
Please support me by making a donation to my page. Your gift helps homeless pets, like Bo and Copper and will support the animal advocacy group, Tails of Hope, that I’ve chosen to walk with.
This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
