This is my 4th year with AAHA and 3rd walking for Strut Your Mutt. We’d love to grow our team last year, we had 4 members, 3 strutting Can we beat that number? Come join AAHA on October 5th in Wheaton Park as we strut to not only raise money, but to bring attention to the efforts of volunteers to save animals from euthanasia because there aren’t enough homes Together we can save them all
If you know me well, you know that I’d rather attempt new things than do a repeat attendance The fact that I have participated in Strut Your Mutt twice and now on the third for AAHA should let you know how much I believe in the work of AAHA - Adopt a Homeless Animal.
AAHA volunteers are some of the most passionate people I have worked with when it comes to animal rescue. While some rescues mainly focus on puppies and dogs quick to place , AAHA works tireless to place dogs that are running out of time in the shelter system, whether because they look like a pit bull and found themselves in a county with a ban on a breed, because the dog may need expensive medical care, or because the dog “doesn’t show well” due the the many stresses of shelter life. AAHA truly is the champion for the underdog.
Strut Your Mutt, a fundraising walk hosted by Best Friends that saves the lives of homeless pets right here in my community and all across the country is one way I can show AAHA dogs past, present, and future, that not all humans will let them down.
Please support AAHA and Best Friends and JOIN OUR TEAM. If you can’t join, won’t you make a donation to our page. Your gift helps homeless pets and supports Adopt A Homelessness Animal Rescue
Your support means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, more than 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
