This year, Zadie and I are participating in Strut Your Mutt to raise money for Muddy Paws Animal Rescue.
As many of you know, I spend weekends and many hours during the week volunteering with Muddy Paws, a vibrant organization run by a group of competent, passionate individuals. I truly am so proud to work with them!
While we all benefit from a controlled pet population, overpopulation is still a chronic, systemic issue in the United States. One part of solving that problem is a strong rescue network. Nonprofit rescues are fueled by donations and serve a pivotal role in alleviating the burden on overworked and underfunded municipal shelters.
