2019 Los Angeles Strut Your Mutt

Outta the Cage

Outta the Cage volunteers don't typically, uh, "strut." Heck, we can't even skip, hop, or sashay! But we'll try anything for our mutts!

Which is why we're asking for your support at this year's Best Friends' Strut Your Mutt. We all know how many dogs and cats are killed every day (hint: it's almost 2,200). But we believe in a no-kill nation, which means getting more attention for shelter pets. So we're going to raise money to help more of them.

Think about registering for our team. Someone needs to teach us the finer points of strutting! Or donate to our team or to one of our team members. Your donation is tax-deductible and we get to keep most of the funds...meaning we can get more dogs OUTTA THE CAGE!

  • Anyone who donates or raises (as a team member) $100 by September 28th will get a cool Outta the Cage Strut Your Mutt t-shirt. You'll receive it in mid-October -- before we go struttin' on October 26th.
  • And get THIS! Anyone who donates or raises $250+ by September 28th will get the HOODIE version of the super cool t-shirt. And yes, you'll get it in mid-October--in time to wear it on October 26th if you're struttin' with us.

We don't typically fundraise. Truthfully, we suck at it. But events like Strut Your Mutt bring us together with the shared vision of No More Homeless Pets. As our compadres at Best Friends say:

Together, we can Save Them All

We love you,

Your buddies at Outta the Cage
