Furry Friends Rescue is honored and excited to join Best Friends Strut Your Mutt! We’re raising donations for our rescue dogs and cats. We have no office nor shelter building expenses. All volunteer Hero Foster Homes and Sanctuary Homes. Together, we need to end the killing of homeless dogs and cats at shelters. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it! Rescues, Foster Homes and Adopters, assemble!
Your compassionate support and kind donations are greatly needed to help save furry lives!
Every day, nearly 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's over-crowded shelters simply because they don't have dedicated forever homes. That number should be zero, but sadly, many are neglected, abused and abandoned at shelters and streets. We need to raise much needed funds to pay for very high vet bills, supplies, emergency boarding, Miracle Club and Sanctuary dogs/cats. We rescue dogs and cats of all ages (bottle babies, young to seniors, mom & babies), breed types, behavior (scared, shy, under-socialized, untrained) and special medical needs.
Join our team by registering or donate to one of our team members! Your donation is tax deductible and Furry Friends Rescue will receive 100% of the money raised after transaction fees. Register for entrance into the event and get your Strut Your Mutt t-shirt! Walk with or without a dog. Hang out and have fun! We will also have some Thank You gifts for our top fundraisers and Yappy hour goodies for dogs.

Donations raised will help us pay for extremely high vet expenses and care for many Miracle Club dogs and cats, like:
Calypso, 9 years, Terrier / Cairn Terrier Mix. He had a large golf ball sized tumor hanging from his left leg which had to removed and dental with extractions. Calypso is now happy and active kid! Loves playing with other dogs and zooming around.
Liam, 9 years, Terrier / Yorkshire Terrier Mix. He was severely neglected when we rescued him. He had major dental/gum infections and many extractions, as well as 2 holes on the roof of his mouth to his nasal cavity. Liam also has auto-immune disease. Despite all his medical needs and special care, he is happy and loved by his foster home.
Lassie, 4 years, German Shepherd / Collie Mix and her six puppies. Sweetie Lassie neglected and scared (afraid to walk on leash & pancaked to the floor). She gave birth to 6 puppies over-night at the shelter. Her front teeth are all worn down from most likely chewing on the bars of a cage she was locked in for years, which will require dental surgery soon. Despite her horrific past, she is a sweetie. Lassie is now healthy, loved and loves her daily walks.
Frodo, 7 years, Schnauzer. Emergency surgery to remove large bladder stone, dental and lab tests. Now spunky happy.
Chappie, 4 months old, Parson Russell Terrier Mix. He was very sick and needed emergency vet care. Chappie needed Liver Shunt special vet care, many tests and surgery. His surgery was successful! Now his healthy, active and very loved.
Brady, 8 years old, Golden Retriever. He was badly neglected and sick (thin, skin infections, many lumps, joint issues, low energy) when we rescued him from a shelter. After much vet care, many lab tests, surgery (to remove lumps), and dental/extractions, he healed at his Foster Home with tons of TLC. Brady is now healthy, happy and adored.
Sammy, 6 mos, Pointer mix. We call him the Bionic Dog! Poor Sammy lost use of both his rear legs and could not stand nor walk. He needed double rear leg tibia crest surgery. The surgery repaired both his knees so he could walk again. He was a sport and used his rear support wheelchair for walks during his recovery. A month later, he also needed Luxating patella surgeries on both his rear knees. Orthopedic surgeries were all successful and now he walks and runs! Sammy is very happy, spoiled and loved in his forever home.
Liberty (mom & pups), Ranger, Apollo, Jason, Ella, Katniss, Sammy, Katy, Thor, Loki, and many German Shepherds. All super dogs but needed emergency boarding to save their lives from shelters when they ran out of time. Some were very neglected, starved, untrained and under-socialized. All received vet care and holistic foods to heal while they were trained and socialized. All learned and recovered from various health needs. Now all happy, loved and perfect GSDs.
Please spread the word! Share our team page with your friends and family!
Together, we can save more homeless furry lives!
