Here we are, Team The Nose Knows, last year after Strut Your Mutt 2018 in Los Angeles. That’s Luke on the left, Looki Louise in the middle, and Beasley on the right.
It was HOT HOT HOT! There were thousands of dogs there! We love going every year because we see more dog friends there than anywhere else ever!! Mom calls it Doggie Woodstock…whatever that means. I just know it’s cool watching all the other dogs and their persons doing their thing. There’s the Strut, of course, and luckily, there are some big old trees for about half the way, giving us some shade. Some dogs wear costumes! We walk for about a mile and then come back to home base, where there are games, contests, vendors and all kinds of fun stuff for everyone. After the walk, we especially like to sit in the cooling tent, where there are big FANS. Our moms always bring plenty of treats and water to eat so we can just all hang out with the other dog buddies and CHILL. SO MANY DOGS! And it’s all peaceful…that’s what makes it fun for all. Thousands of dogs, all on leashes, all getting along perfectly.
Our moms want you to know that they really appreciate the support you all have given us over the years. This will be year 8, can you believe it? We hope you will help us again this year!
As you already know, the donations all go to help end the killing of pets in America’s shelters (I told you how awful that was last year!) as well as spay/neuter programs.
Mom says it’s working. There are less and less homeless pets being killed every year, thanks to the No-Kill movement started by Best Friends Animal Society. (They sponsor Strut Your Mutt every year in many cities across the USA). Still, there are nearly 2,200 dogs and cats being killed EVERY DAY in America’s shelters-!!! We want that number to be ZERO. So, you see why we do this big strut every year…just doing our part…and we hope you will help too.
If you do want to help, your donation is totally tax deductible! All the money will go to animal welfare organizations and will help save the lives of homeless pets! Please help us, so that together, we can SAVE THEM ALL.
Thank you for your support and thank you for CARING!
Love and thanks to all of you.

PS-We’re going back to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah again this year, where our moms volunteer with the animals! We live in a cottage on the Sanctuay grounds and we get to take wonderful walks there! We are allowed to visit with the sheep, pigs, and horses, while herds of mule deer and flocks of wild turkeys roam the grounds. Our moms will also be volunteering with the dogs, cats, birds, wild things, bunnies…it’s super cool. We can’t wait! Best Friends Rules!
