Community Cat Allies

Thank you for visiting our Strut Your Mutt Team page. We’re raising money to help end the killing of pets in America’s shelters. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it!

In 2017, 70% of cats who entered the Monterey County, California municipal shelters were killed. Our job is to change that.

Our goal at Community Cat Allies is to support the No Kill 2025 movement through Trap-Neuter/Spay-Vaccinate-Return (TNR) programs to improve the lives of community cats, reduce the number of cats and kittens taken to shelters, and ultimately over time reduce the number of unowned, free roaming cats. TNR is the widely accepted best practice to humanely and effectively manage the community cat population.

Every day, nearly 2,200 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.

Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and each participating animal welfare organization keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets.

Together, we can Save Them All.

Thank you for your support!
