2020 Strut Your Mutt Day

Rebound Hounds

MEET MARTHA GRAHAM CRACKER ... A ten yr old throwaway mom used for breeding her whole life, then tossed like trash when she was no longer of use. Martha's now in Rebound's Fospice Program. We started this program to save the most vulnerable in the shelter system -- the seniors and the medically challenged -- allowing them to live out their days in comfort and safety in loving fospice homes, supported for life by REBOUND.

2020 marks the 10th anniversary of REBOUND HOUNDS. In ten years we've saved a lot of dogs and seen a lot of changes, in the NYC shelter system, in the dogs themselves, and in our rescue. One thing never changes though ... the overwhelming need to help our homeless animals.

Dogs like Martha. She's our inspiration this year for Strut Your Mutt. Her sweet, forgiving nature in the face of human cruelty. Her courage and spirit. We have 15 Marthas right now in our Fospice Program. And yes, it gets costly. The Fospice Program vetting tops $22,000 from 2019 to present. That doesn't even take into account our vetting, training and rehab for our other dogs in foster homes.

So we're asking you to please join Rebound during Strut Your Mutt. Please register to Join Our Team. Or simply donate. It's our biggest fundraiser of the year and so important because we never want to turn away from dogs like Martha Graham Cracker. To do that, we need your help, to partner with us to save more like Martha, today and all the days to come, for the next ten years.

Thank you for your support!
