Thank you for visiting our Strut Your Mutt Team page. We are raising money to help dogs like Louie get the care they need through Jane's Fund. And we plan on having a lot of fun doing it!
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is an open intake shelter that saves over 90% of the animals in their care. This includes animals who enter our shelter with injuries and illnesses. Animals hit by cars, dogs with bloody paws from running on hot pavement, kittens struggling to survive. Help the shelter continue their lifesaving work by donating today!
Every day, dogs and cats are brought to the shelter, and some of them are in need of a little extra love and care than simply a new home - they need veterinary care, and Jane's Fund is the shelter's fund focused on paying for that care. That is why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.
Louie is just one of many dogs to pass through the shelter in need of help from Jane's Fund. Louie's trip to the vet included x-rays and bloodwork; surgery to remove a large, fist-sized bladder stone, which was sent off for analysis; a dental with extractions; neuter surgery; and grooming to help him be more comfortable.
Please join us either by registering for our team to help us raise funds or by donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and the shelter keeps 100 percent of the money raised after transaction fees. And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets.
Together, we can Save Them All.
Thank you for your support!
