Dear Pet Haven Supporter,

Thank you for visiting PET HAVEN'S Strut Your Mutt Team page! Best Friends is helping us, Pet Haven, to raise money money so we can work to end homelessness and reduce euthanasia of unwanted pets in Minnesota. We plan on having a lot of fun doing it and you can too!

We are sensitive to the current economic challenges many people are facing, yet now more than ever we need your help. We have a hefty goal of $20,000 to reach but believe TOGETHER we can acheive sucsess! We encourage you to donate whatever you can to our team or start your own team and encourage others to "Get Out and Walk" and help us say YES to saving more lives! Now more than ever your help is so important and there is much strength in numbers!

IF WE ALL DO A LITTLE BIT TOGETHER, WE WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF THE PETS WE SAVE!

Take a look at Sweet Sylvia who was found wondering in a corn field cold wet and muddy. She was a discarded hunting dog used for breeding. After 8+ years Sylvia was no longer wanted and tossed out. Suffering from incontinence most likely due to over breeding, and several tumors on her body that had to be removed, she is now safe in our care sporting fashionable doggie diapers! We believe she deserved a chance at a better life.

Becasue of supporters like you, we were able to say YES to our shelter partner and bring Sweet Sylvia into Foster Care! With Pet Haven she recieved the medical attention she needed, was given a soft bed, warm pets, good nutrition, and a loving foster family.

SYLVIA WENT FROM UNDERDOG TO WONDERDOG!

Please consider even a small gift or starting a team of your own in support of Pet Haven and our work. EVERY DOLLAR you gift to us goes directly to animal care and supports the needs of our foster pets. Last year you helped us save 526 pets in need. 190 dogs and 336 cats. This year we are on track to double the amount of pets and As of August 1, we have brought 476 pets into foster care, 144 dogs and 332 cats! 420 of them have found their Forever Family! 420!

WE COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP!

Every day, nearly 1,700 dogs and cats are euthanized in America's shelters simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. That’s why our team is participating in Best Friends Animal Society’s Strut Your Mutt event to raise money for animals. But we need your help, too.

Please join us either by registering for our team or donating to one of our team members. Your donation is tax deductible and we keep 100 percent of the money raised after the small transaction fees. (under 3%) And the best part? That money will help save the lives of homeless pets. Strutt Your Mutt ends on October 31st. Let's come together and blow the "woof" off our goal!
