Katie Boué's 30th birthday for the doggos

Friends, if there's one thing you know about me, it's that my dog Spaghetti is the best thing that ever happened to me. You followed along during the ups and downs of my journey to adopting her, and to celebrate the gift of my rescue noodle, I am donating my birthday to fundraising for Best Friends.

Because what could be a better gift to give than helping other people find their dirt noodles too?

At this very moment while you read this, Spaghetti is running around the desert in her Ruffwear digs, rolling in the dirt, soaking up the autumn sunshine, and living her best life. We can help other pups live their best lives too.

Many of you generously offered gifts and tokens of your love–and I so deeply love you all for the kind thoughts and intentions–but I don't need things. What I do need, is for good doggos to find good hoomans. Let's do that together. In honor of my 30th birthday, consider donating your daily latte fund to help creatures in need of finding furever homes.

Thank you, and I love you, and Spaghetti says 'WOOF!' which roughly translates too 'Rescue dogs are the best and thank you for all the belly rubs. Plz send more treats.'

DONATE TO FUNDRAISER

Since it was founded in 1984, Best Friends Animal Society has helped reduce the number of dogs and cats killed in shelters nationwide from 17 million per year to about two million. That's incredible progress, but it means 4,100 dogs and cats are still being killed in America's shelters every day, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. That number should be zero. And if we work together, it can be.

That's why I created this fundraiser.

When you donate to my fundraiser, you'll be helping around 1,600 dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, horses, and other barnyard animals who on any given day reside at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. Plus, you'll be helping to save the lives of homeless pets all across the country through lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs, no-kill initiatives, and more.

Thank you for donating to help save animals' lives. Together, we will Save Them All.
