One of the very first things people think of when remembering Darlene is her undying love for animals. I think Darlene would be so happy to know her friends are continuing her quest and making strides to save animals from being homeless or abused. In researching various rescue organizations, Best Friends showed to be head and shoulders above all other well known organizations. I look forward to honoring Darlene by reminding us all that together we can make a difference. AND respectfully bid farewell to our sweet friend by promising to do what we can in helping the less fortunate animals in this life, in her absence.
This is not about the estimated goal, or contributing a certain dollar amount; it is about carrying on Darlene's voice. Every contribution helps, no matter how small.
