You know what I do. Help me raise some funds so Louie's Legacy can continue to help save the liives of pets in need.
Every year, Louie’s Legacy looks forward to Strut Your Mutt as our greatest opportunity to raise critical funds. For the past five years, Strut Your Mutt has enabled us to continue saving the most vulnerable animals in need - the neglected, the sick, the graying, even those needing behavioral support. We’re proud of this legacy and incredibly grateful to each of you who support us through Strut Your Mutt. It’s thanks to you that we’re able to make a difference in the lives of so many animals, knowing that many of their medical expenses will be far greater than that of a young, healthy pet.
Last year, our Strut Your Mutt Team raised over $20,000. These funds made a lifesaving difference for pets like:
Norah, a frightened, neglected girl who was living in an abandoned trailer and suffering from severe mange and a fractured femur.
Pixie, who found herself at the shelter with a fractured leg and pelvis after she was hit by a car.
Logan, a handsome young pup who was found living in a cave with a dislocated hip and permanent joint and bone damage.
Penelope, rescued from a shelter with a severe skin infection, multiple mammary tumors and a condition that required both of her eyes to be removed.
Max & Duchess, two gorgeous senior souls who were surrendered to the shelter with severe hip dysplasia.
Oreo, a sweet older gentleman who spent the first 12 years of his life in a puppy mill and was heartworm positive.
Louise, who, despite suffering from severe mange and eyelid entropion, remained so sweet and loving.
In just the first six months of 2020, we were able to provide all of these pets and so many others with the second chance they deserved. Many are already living the good life with their new family thanks to caring people like you.
And this year, we’re raising funds that have never been more essential. Since the onset of COVID-19, we’ve remained dedicated to continuing our mission, because pets still need saving, even in the midst of a pandemic. We’ve worked tirelessly to offset the effects of this crisis, rescuing over 50% more animals than we did in the first half of 2019.
