WOW Totally floored that I've reached my goal so soon. Thanks to all who donated and helping AAHA to save more pups. The fundraiser is not over. The more we raise the more dogs we can save. The walaka is in October! Remember I'm walking to save the lives of homeless pets! Karley was an AAHA dog. She was bounced around from the kennel to foster and then back to the kennel where she began to decompensate. With her behavior worsening, she wasn’t allowed to attend adoption days. Volunteers did not enjoy taking her for walks. She was labeled dog aggressive. Karley sat wanting to be loved and needing for someone to see beyond the visible. It was January 2016, that Karley was dropped off at my house to stay for the weekend. The blizzard struck the Northeast that weekend and it was just what Karley and I needed. You see, beyond the kennel, beyond the visible cage behavior, was a little girl that was capable of great love. In a peaceful and quiet household, Karley blossomed. And so that “weekend” has turned into more than 4 years. This is why I volunteer, this is why I'm walking to raise money for my best friends, because there are so many "Karleys" in the shelters. Dogs who just need a quiet environment to know love and learn to trust again.
Please support me by making a donation to my page. Your gift helps homeless pets and will support Adopt A Homeless Animal.
This cause means so much to me and I am grateful for your help. Every day, about 2,000 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters, simply because they don't have safe places to call home. Each one is a loving pet just like yours and mine.
Together, we can Save Them All and reduce that number to zero. Thank you for your kind support.
